Cons:
  • Unprofessional workers

Preferred solution: I want to know who the person is trying to dox me. I want their name so I can report them to the police. I want them to be fired if they are still working.

User's recommendation: This is a SHAM, don't believe anything. There workers harass people online.

I don't feel like giving my name bit i was treated at Crossroads ibogaine Center I was miserable the first 3 days stomach in knots because of the morphine and I had a really terrible room without any hot water and the sounds of the cleaning crew and the kitchen were ever sounding I thought I was going to a luxurious Resort like type of place *** for almost $7,000 . i would say that I had a large series of deep premonitions the Saturday following Wednesday nights ibogaine treatment.

in fact I never really quite woke up from Wednesday night's experience No Visions just an extreme cleaning of my brain and it definitely opened up my psychic receptors leading me down a path of many lifetimes and places at once. I finally awoke that morning Saturday before they were starting the 5 Meo DMT which I was really looking forward to but I had an extremely important phone call to make they did not believe me they treated me as if I was crazy my Visions were just hallucinations and this caused me great nervousness regret and anger and I simply said if you do not let me use the phone I am going to leave once they said that we're not going to let me use the phone they tried to talk to me about what I was going through but even I am having a hard time processing it still and this was months ago nobody called me two see if I made it home if I was alive I left all my belongings luckily I was able to get my wallet and phone back along with something else that didn't belong to me I'm really upset that I didn't get my money's worth and once I did my research on Crossroads the reason why I had chosen this facility when there's so many in Mexico Central America and I'm sure many other countries they had been around for at least 15 years had great reviews at least what I read was great the funny thing is if you look at their website the only staff member that I recognized was the kitchen lady I never met dr. [REDACTED] I didn't recognize any of the other staff I feel embarrassed I feel cheated and I can't help but Wonder why they keep getting such wonderful reviews I was told on the phone that it would be an organic diet with juicing daily . That was a lie .

I never got anything that reminded me of organic clean food in fact I fasted the whole time only eating fruit juice and tea. On top of that i left without getting the contacts of all 5 of the other patients. Totally bummed. On top of that not all the staff members We're very professional some were very and others ..not at all. I paid them good money to provide a safe comfortable environment for me they allowed me to leave or they didn't take me seriously when I said I went straight to my room packed up my stuff left it behind and hit the road having severe hallucinations. I just don't understand why nobody ever contacted me even after got my stuff back a week later and I only got my wallet and phone and someone else's stuff kind of freaks me out especially after reviewing some of the other posts about this dr. [REDACTED] who started this I would very much like to speak to him in person if he even exists. I would love to get in touch with my fellow peeps!

Infinite stars to Crossroads ibogaine

Been there once

It changed my life forever.

That story is made up. The old you died after being treated there.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote that. Because you literally change for the rest of your life.

My name is Donny Plato. I rate them beyond stars.

DR MARTIN POLANCO AND CROSSROADS IBOGAINE TREATMENT CENTER FINALLY SHUT DOWN!

Guest

Whoever wrote this review is psychotic and, yes, Dr.Polanco, I would consider them dangerous. I was treated by Polanco in 2003 in Rosario Beach and it was a great, life-changing experience.

I stayed clean for 5 years after the treatment and the only reason I relapsed was due to my own lack of recovery maintenance. There have been some deaths associated with ibogaine but one is advised of the dangers of taking the substance when you check in and sign a disclaimer. The whole review is nonsense.

I cannot recommend Dr. Polanco highly enough and I have come out publicly many time to support him and his program.

Guest

I have heard NOTHING but excellent things about Crossroads! A friend just came back in January and said it was amazing!

He is a new person. I don't know who wrote this negative review but it is total BS

Polanco is a scammer

mmmm thats weird....

Crossroads always treat more then 2 patients at the same time, never, never left alone!

Is the only center that has a detox clinic (were the treatment is done) next to a hospital.

The beach house is where you have post and after care only!

they all speak english and even the cleaning lady knows english!

That been said... I dont think we are talking about the same clinic do we?

2 Patients are never left alone

3 I recomend only CrossRoads

To mi fellow americans

actually dear, you are 100% wrong, you dont know because you were not treated there, Dr Polanko is the best kind of doctor!

if you went for treatment, you would know how you are treated there, Its clinical and loving.

I am thankful for the care and it was a bargain considering what might have happened if I had kept on drinking and abusing substances. Crossroads is 1/5 the price of Betty Ford but worked, so it was cheap. With the large staff of doctors, nurses, delicious foods lovingly prepared, bloodwork, labs, cardiology exam, monitoring equipment, therapy and beach house, 7500$ to cure me of my addictions was the best money ive ever spent and worth 10xs what i paid.

I cant imagine at that cheap price how anyone could be making much money , all you have to do is run the numbers. My deepest heartfelt gratitude to Crossroads and the doctors there.:) I highly recommend this clinic.Safe, beautiful, professional and it works.

CrossRoads in Rosarito Beach, Mexico

Believe it or not a person with absolutely no medical or Ibogaine backround named Sandra {{Redacted}} is administering Ibogaine treatments to patients and "winging" it. This is what Dr. {{Redacted}}, google his name, calls professional treatment, I am disgusted, I am sicked by the fact that this is what he calls top notch medical treatment, shame on you Dr. {{Redacted}}. You even changed your name to your first name only followed by Dr. because Polance has such a bad reputation and so many deaths attached to it. You had just gotten fired and now you are another "DIRECTOR" of another Ibogaine facility, absolutely disgusting, shame on you, anything for a buck huh Doc, so sad. It will only be a matter of time before there is another death in the CrossRoads House and it will be tragic, btw, same house same administators just re-named CROSSROADS, old name being Transitions, scam artists, so beware do not send your loved oned to Crossroads because it is really Transitions disguised as CrossRoads. Beau {{Redacted}} is still a major player and we all know how ruthless he is when it comes to his Ibogaine Empire. Isacc disappeared and Dr. {{Redacted}} showed up, due to that last death in the same exact house as now. Beware, do your due diligence and do not be fooled by the new name or locations five houses down. Google Dr. {{Redacted}}, it will enlighten you.Good Luck getting well and if you need advice feel free to call me Jackie 516-510-**** or Steve 201-888-****.

I know this was put here by mistake, but to think using a drug to help one get off a drug, is not the best way, as the people at "Crossroads" said- "if you’re willing to open the window of opportunity revealed by this most sacred of medicines, to embrace its ancient wisdom and powerful teachings and completely re-order your life in recovery, then ibogaine will give you the chance".

Dont buy this, though it can help, but the "true Medicine, and ancient wisdom" is found in the word of God.

Want to be changed? 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: 'old' things are passed away; behold, all things are become 'new'."

How can one be in Christ? By believing. See, Romans 10:9,10.

Its only a confession away. God loves you and wants to give you life and that more abundant.

Read the facts about Dr Polanco. He has been doing horrible treatments for over a decade.

Read this below

http://www.xcomplaints.com/complaint/fraud-c246.html

After his ibogaine patients die he leave town, no evidence no witnesses.

Do your home work before you go to him, ibogaine is deadly enough....

Polanco is a killer has killed many poor desperate addicts. http://www.realitysandwich.com/iboga_insurrection_part_1

@ mamabear, hey I am NOT an owner or employee or any center, and have no axe to grind so please dont be offended by this. Oh and firstly, Im so truly happy to hear your loved one found healing, in fact Im a bit moisty eyed and Im not kidding about that.

Thats after all what its about right? And to my mind after not much surfing online its unmistakably clear to me that if healing, and a patients well being is even a motivator AT ALL for some of these clinics, its not the primary one. And as you strike me as possibly one of the few, maybe the only, honest poster who is what they say they are here, you can verify that you saw yourself or your son can that they had an actual MD on site 24 hours a day? But what I ask you not to take offense to is your mention of a 2012 study stating theres never been an ibogaine death, and not be to disrespectful but theres alotta studies published, especially in the medical world, which completely contradict some other study done at the same time, studies require $, very often provided by big pharam or other sorporate interests.

Cuz even the most pro ibogaine proponents and advocates always throw out the number 19, which Id bet is wayyyy low, even Lotsof admitted to deaths that ocurred from the drug. And I KNOW there have been multiple ones at rosarito although exactly how many is a well guarded thing. Im not naive, I realize that any drug or medical procedure has risk, the nastier the disease being treated the more likely treatment is risky. I also realize no hospital or clinic from mayo and john hopkins down to a back alley abortion shack is going to advertise fatalities in neon lights.

But theres not promoting it and then theres evasion and lying about facts when asked straight out what happened. And again specifically related to crossroads and the experience my friends family had with the staff there, they were treated with anything but full disclosure or forthcomingness, Im sure hed signed some sorta waiver which protected them to some degree but heres just one danger of a treatment not fully recognized and above board, its mitigates the protection a waiver affords the center. Id assume that played a role in the evasiveness and avoidance my friends family recieved, but, and again based on incomplete bits and pieces of what happened from a variety of sources, some addicts present at the time but inherently suspect because theyre addicts AND were in whatever stage of treatment themselves and couldnt be trusted to assimilate and process everything accurrately, we were told when my friend went into cardiac distress a paramedic needed to be called, as there wasnt one in house, and Ill avoid all the inconsistencies and unconfirmed but plausible details but suffice it to say if any of the several are true then it means one or more of the centers allegations of services provided and qualifications are gross lies. and when proponents try to say any deaths related to ibogaine were due to other factors and pre existing this or that, beware.

You ever heard the proverb theres liars, goll danged liars and then theres statisticians? They know about drug interactions which is why I go bug eyed hearing of some places that benzo up patients, they know of cardiac episode concerns, they know their clients are addicts not triathletes, and to treat a client w/ pre existing heart issues makes them negligible, it doesnt exempt them for liability in the death. And as a medical center they have an absolute liabilty to ppractice due dilligence in discovering this. I know addicts are a resourceful bunch but Ive seen some claims deaths were due to a patient sneeking drugs in and using them during the treatment, to some degree the centers have a responsibility to closely monitor them and to bear in mind theyre junkies and even when going to treatment voluntarily are just hard wired to use.

Im as far from the guy who needs to have someone to sue for his own mistakes as one can get. Handgun makers are despicable, but I dont think they should be sued for anything someone does w/ their product after sale, so long as theres some reasonable safety/ usage tips in the owners manual. And Im American the land of suffocation warnings on dry cleaning bags, and yeah chevy should be sued till it hurts for selling cars they knew were dangerous. I should not even be allowed to file, let alone prevail, in suing a surfboard maker when Im eaten by a shark.

Lets all practice more common sense people and take some accountability, sorry, I ramble, my point is any study claiming theres never been an ibogaine death not caused by outside factors is like me having my hands and feet shackled, then shoved into the ocean from a boat and saying they didnt kill me, it was the outside factor that I couldnt breathe underwater. Again Im so happy to know someone you love recieved healing no matter my experiences or beliefs about that or any center, Im just genuinely afraid theres going to be alot more needless damage and deaths from some of these places

ayahuasca it is!! its become abundantly clear after just a couple hours online that the ibogaine treatment industry (cuz its sure not about healing or medicine and cuz Im too polite to call it a racket) at least insofar as the bigger and well known centers are all fraught w/ ***, in the best cases huge egos and in the worst cases purely profit driven fraud and, again sugar coating things a bit, less than full disclosure surrounding deaths.

a dear personal friend of mine went to crossroads (aka more than a couple other names, why does a business pay and work to promote a name then abandon it and its subsequent name repeatedly? Its not cuz of their illustrious history of success and happy clients) and died during treatment, this occurred in 2014, Dr Polanco or however its spelled (and like the name of one business he's been affiliated with he's also done personal name changes) was unavailable when some of his family went down to retrieve the body and even after extending their stay in Mexico solely to speak to Dr Polanco, were dodged by him. its Mexico so records and documentation of anything medical including deaths are vague and sketchy at best, Ive heard from one person who was a patient that the claims of full time Drs and emt on site werent their first hand experience but to be fair I wasnt there myself and this person is not always trustworthy. Ive read interviews w/ the Dr and extremely flattering ones of him, not some competitor fabricating things, and even those have him contradicting his own words over and over.

I cofounded the center, I joined the center about 2 years after they opened, it cant be both Doc, pick a side. its my baby I created the program, when asked about a death, I wasnt director then. Ive never been to the center nor met anyone involved with it. And clearly its a small little industry with a few players who are pretty dysfunctional familylike, at bare minimum theyre all quite familiar with one another and theres an intertwined work path with lots of them seemingly always ending very badly and confrontationally.

I wouldnt trust a single review, either negative or positive, on these type of sites, because as clearly evidenced right here theyre chock full of the various business owners/ employees slandering one another and/ or posting fictitious things. I know ibogaine has some incredible gifts for some people, but at least as far as ANY center alleging ibogaine tratment ANYWHERE in Baja Mexico Id beg anyone debating it continue their search and be most diligent and healthily skeptical of anyone anywhere selling ibogaine treatment. At present Im pretty certain theres nowhere its actually legal, I dont mean in Mexico I mean earth. Not legal tho not criminal in some places, some that sorta look the other way for now, but as far as Ive ever heard or anything I could find in writing, nowhere is it fully above board and legal.

Of course theres many valid medical treatments and drugs which arent legalized due to pharma interests and interference and a host of reasons none being that the drug or procedure isnt beneficial. But Im 100% convinced that at least in the baja ibogaine community the best of operators are still a huge risk and its terrifying to consider literally putting one's life in their hands, do as you will

Thank you for the critique. I am not willing to take any unecessary risks with Ibogaine, which is already risky enough.

Because of the above writer (who posts repeatedly under various names on every site she can) I was quite worried about sending our son to the Crossroads Ibogaine Treatment Center. However, I did some much deeper investigating and ultimately decided that Crossroads was the best place for him to undergo ibogaine treatment.

Our family was VERY happy and satisfied with the care our son received from the team at Crossroads. Dr. Martin made himself very accessible to answer our questions, both before and after treatment, and the staff at the facility was friendly and professional. I know that the person writing above was very dissatisfied with her ibogaine experience in that she experienced withdrawal symptoms after her treatment.

All I can say is that if she was on methadone, or even worse, Suboxone, these are very long-lasting opiates and until a couple of years ago, just HOW long-lasting they are was not really known; Suboxone stays in your system for MONTHS and it's imperative to switch to a short-acting opiate for quite a while before your ibogaine experience, or else you will experience delayed withdrawal symptoms... and yes, death can occur if you hide drug use from your ibogaine provider. But based on a study done in 2012, there has not been a single death due to Ibogaine that was not attributable to other health issues or to concurrent drugs/alcohol in the system during an Ibogaine treatment. My son was given an EKG and thorough exam before his treatment, there was a "crash cart" in his room, and plenty of staff around.

I hope that whoever reads this takes the numerous postings by the woman Jackie with a grain of salt, and realizes that almost all the negative posts are written by one person only.

There seems to be a good bit of "unfriendly competition" between the various Ibogaine treatment centers as well, and I can't seem to figure out whether this poster is actually affiliated with another Ibogaine treatment center. At any rate, my son, my husband and I are all very happy with the care our son received at Crossroads.
